Images from “Your Own Voice”, the workshop we held in October 2024 with one of the pioneers of contemporary illustration, Javier Zabala, and from the exhibition “Processes in Art for Books”, created together with his students in Istanbul.

Our workshop was built around discovering one’s own voice—recognizing the rhythms inside, translating memory, emotion, and observation into images, and trusting intuition rather than imitation.

In our exhibition “Processes in Art for Books”, following the workshop, we brought together sketches, drafts, experiments, unfinished ideas, and final works to share the creative process as much as the finished illustration.
