For international shipments, unless expressly stated otherwise in writing by Shhhbooks, all customs duties, import VAT, sales taxes, customs clearance fees, storage charges, brokerage fees, local service charges, local delivery surcharges, and any similar additional financial obligations shall be borne solely by the Buyer.
Before placing the order, the Buyer is responsible for checking whether the ordered product may lawfully be imported into the destination country and for determining which documents, procedures, and financial obligations may apply.
Any delivery times indicated for international shipments are estimates only. Delays may occur due to customs inspections, border procedures, security checks, local carrier practices, official authority actions, peak periods, weather conditions, and similar reasons.
If the shipment is returned, held, liquidated, or destroyed because the Buyer refuses delivery, fails to collect the shipment, fails to pay customs duties or related charges, fails to provide required documents / information / identification, or fails to comply with the import requirements of the destination country, the direct costs incurred by Shhhbooks in connection with such shipment may, to the extent permitted by applicable law, be charged to the Buyer or deducted from any refund amount.
